Rog, rog strix, tuf gaming or prime motherboards install automatically on first boot up You have to disable it in bios before installing windows, though. Web now with this asus board, basically everything is new. Disable in bios, reinstall windows. (from bios) actually that thing should be disabled in bios by default. Asus armoury crate app can be useful in some scenarios, but it’s not good software, as it stands right now. With future updates, asus can turn the armoury crate software into a good utility by removing unnecessary services and streamlining the interface. It doesn't run without armory crate.
